Shifts per Week:
5 (8-hour day shifts; 10- and 12-hour shifts available; start times vary: 6:30 am, 9:00 am, 10:30 am)
Weekly Estimated Pay:
$3,740 - $4,360 (competitive pay for CRNA locum tenens roles)
Cases:
General anesthesia, orthopedic, healthy pediatrics, some trauma; OB experience is a plus but not required
EMR:
EPIC
Qualifications / Job Requirements
Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
Active Pennsylvania RN license required (compact licenses not accepted) - Pennsylvania CRNA applicants only
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
At least 1 year of CRNA clinical experience preferred (general anesthesia experience highly valued)
Availability: ability to commit at least 2 days per week or 1-2 weeks per month; full-time locum tenens availability strongly preferred
Willingness to complete credentialing process (90-120 days)
Responsibilities
Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures including general, orthopedic, pediatric, and trauma cases
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing, and perioperative staff to optimize patient outcomes
Perform pre-operative assessments, intraoperative anesthesia management, and post-anesthesia care
Monitor and document patient status before, during, and after anesthesia in EPIC
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and anesthesia practice standards
