We're seeking a highly skilled Control Design Specialist to join our team as a contractor. As a key member of our Data & Analytics Business Risk Internal Controls team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing job aids and tools to facilitate the completion of policy and standard requirements. Your expertise will help standardize work across various teams, set up quality processes to monitor adherence, and identify controls to manage operational, financial, and compliance risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement job aids and tools to support risk programs, including Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA), Change Management, and risk and control library maintenance.
Identify and implement controls to manage operational, financial, and compliance risks.
Monitor the risk and control environment for weaknesses and develop solutions to improve effectiveness and efficiency of controls.
Collaborate with various teams to standardize work processes and ensure quality adherence.
Develop and maintain reports that aggregate themes across all areas supported into leadership-level reporting.
Requirements:
8-15 years of experience in risk management, internal controls, or a related field.
Strong technical skills in risk management, control design, and process improvement.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with risk and control self-assessment methodologies.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Familiarity with risk management software and tools.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., finance, accounting, risk management).
8-15 years of experience in risk management, internal controls, or a related field.
