Devereux’s residential programs provide 24/7 structured, therapeutic living environments for children and adolescents with significant emotional, behavioral, developmental, or psychiatric needs who require more intensive support than outpatient services can provide. Across its campuses, these programs combine individual and group therapy, psychiatric services, educational support, life skills training, and comprehensive assessments to address each youth’s unique strengths and challenges.
Position Details
Non‑licensed: Starts at $51,000 – $58,140 per year.
Licensed: Starts at $60,500 – $68,970 per year.
Salary increases based on relevant education and experience.
Schedule
Monday–Friday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; requires one weekend day per month.
Must complete a 2‑week hire orientation class (Monday–Friday; 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day).

Education
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology required.
Qualifications
Two years’ experience working directly with children and families.
Preferred experience with children who are victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, or youth who have been adjudicated delinquent and are committed and are emotionally disturbed.
Other Requirements
Valid driver’s license.
Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing; some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques upwards of 75–100 lbs or more; some repetitive wrist or hand movements, normal hearing and vision.
Successfully pass pre‑employment medical screenings which include drug screen, physical, and TB test.
Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida (more information at https://info.flclearinghouse.com).
