Business Operations and Development Internship – Summer 2026

BINGHAMTOM UNIVERSITY, Vestal, NY, United States

Business Operations and Development Internship – Summer 2026
Recruitment began on March 26, 2026

and the job listing Expires on April 26, 2026

At LeNoble, interns are not observers; they are active participants who gain exposure to how a fast-moving building materials business operates across sales, operations, logistics, and customer service.

Our goal is to give students a real understanding of how projects move from concept to completion and how the building materials supply chain supports the construction and design industries.

What to Expect
Interns will participate in an

8-week immersive internship

working directly with different departments across the company.

The LeNoble Lumber Internship program aims to introduce the next generation of professionals to this dynamic industry while providing meaningful exposure to the operational and analytical side of running a business.

During this time, interns will meet key team members, learn about the building materials industry, and gain an introduction to LeNoble’s operations and culture.

Interns will rotate through several areas of the business, which may include:

Sales, Marketing & Business Development

Finance & Accounting

Operations & Analytics

Rather than observing from the sidelines, interns will be given

meaningful responsibilities and projects

that contribute to day-to-day operations from day one, including:

Analyzing sales trends and customer purchasing patterns

Tracking inventory flow and identifying operational inefficiencies

Shadowing sales development initiatives and learning pricing strategies

Supporting purchasing decisions based on demand and lead time data

Contributing to process design and documentation development projects

By the end of the program, interns will have developed a working understanding of how materials move from supplier to job site, how sales relationships are built and maintained, and how operational decisions impact customer success. Interns will also complete a capstone-style project where they will analyze a real business problem and present recommendations to the leadership team.

The LeNoble Internship Program is designed to give interns exposure to the broader building and construction industry through:

Film Set/Construction Site Visits

– Opportunities to visit film sets and construction sites and see how LeNoble materials are used in real projects.

Vendor & Partner Exposure

– Meet manufacturers, suppliers, or partners who are part of the building materials supply chain.

Team Events & Networking

– Social gatherings and networking opportunities to build relationships across the LeNoble team.
