Summary:

The LW - Trader II works closely with the Investment, Operations, Client Service and Wealth Advisor teams to ensure timely execution of rebalances and trades. Principal duties include working within our trading software system, order management system, assignment of investment models to new accounts, initiate rebalances, process raise cash requests, monitor cash balances and investing where appropriate. This role works through both automated and manual trading processes to ensure accurate implementation of Investment Committee and Wealth Advisor trade requests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Team Responsibilities:

+ Basic understanding of investment models and risk profile framework to assign appropriate models to new accounts.

+ Rebalancing new and existing accounts.

+ Monitor cash balances for investment, distributions, and fee collection.

+ Execute equity, ETF and mutual fund trades.

+ Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports from various systems.

+ Trade reconciliation between portfolio accounting system, trading system, and custodians.

+ Respond to or research trade related inquiries.

+ Decide on establishment of appropriate restrictions from desired client-specified constraints.

+ Contributes to trading team practice standards.

+ Firm Responsibilities

+ Understand and support the firm's vision, mission, and strategy.

+ Engage in teamwork and teambuilding and integrate into the culture of the firm.

+ Stay apprised of LW firm policies, industry best practices, and is constantly evaluating technologies to enhance our capabilities.

+ Complies with all Firm's HR and Compliance policies

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's Degree

+ At least five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PP)

+ Experience with Tamarac Reporting, Trading and CRM, Charles Schwab and Fidelity custodial platforms or other similar systems

+ Experience with a CRM Database, Document Management software or other Financial Industry software is a plus

+ Excel VBA programing or similar programing skills
