Job Summary
The Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art is accepting applications for a pool of part‑time faculty positions to support undergraduate programs in Foundations Drawing, 2D, 3D, and Art Appreciation for the 2025‑2026 academic year. These positions are on an as‑needed, semester‑by‑semester basis.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses.
- Appliers may be asked to teach in various modalities (face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online).
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Masters of Fine Art degree in Art or a related subject with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Art supporting course assignment(s).
- Classroom instruction experience in higher education.
- Ability to teach Observational Drawing, 2D Design, 3D Design, or Art Appreciation.

- Consistently exhibit engaging customer service.

- Proven proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Google, and/or applications as required for the specific position.

- Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human relations skills.
