This position is responsible for implementing and monitoring the facility’s Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program, ensuring compliance with NYS Department of Health, CMS regulations, and industry best practices. Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing, the QA RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to promote clinical excellence and a culture of continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Monitor nursing practices and provide feedback, coaching, and support to nursing staff to ensure adherence to quality standards.Participate in audits and analyze data from CASPER reports, PointRight, survey outcomes, and internal assessments to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.Prepare QAPI reports, contribute to monthly QA meeting minutes, and follow up on action plans.Support the Director of Nursing in coordinating and evaluating staff development and education programs.Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote compliance and high-quality care.Maintain accurate records for quality metrics, infection control, and wound care programs.Serve as a resource for clinical sta
