Job Description
The CMO Training Supervisor has functional responsibility for training operations across CMO manufacturing departments, including documentation, formulation, preparation, filtration, filling, lyophilization, inspection, and packaging. The role oversees onboarding, curriculum development, training consistency across shifts, audit support, and Employee Performance Management.

Supervise assigned training operations: onboarding of new personnel, curricula ownership and review, training coordination, content creation, and compliance with manufacturing training items.

Review and update training documentation for CMO manufacturing areas.

Provide cGMP, GDP, job task, and safety training; coordinate with shift SMEs.

Generate, update, and maintain area Standard Operating Procedures; conduct observations, training, and audits.

Supervise hourly employee performance, ensuring SOP compliance and safety regulations.

Investigate deviations, implement corrective actions, and complete CAPA and change control initiations.

Order production supplies and equipment required for training.

Prepare training compliance reports and related data sets.

Interview new employees, provide coaching and counseling, conduct performance evaluations, set objectives, and support disciplinary actions.

Collaborate with supporting departments to resolve training issues quickly with appropriate quality considerations.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 Years of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Training, Communications, or related Leadership Experience.

Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a hard science, communications, business, or applicable discipline.

Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated industry teaching or training desirable.

Prolonged sitting and standing required; scrub and smock trained to occasionally enter ISO or Grade areas.

Microsoft Office proficiency.

Additional Requirements for Higher Levels

CMO Training Supervisor II: 2+ Years as Supervisor I.

CMO Training Supervisor III: 2+ Years as Supervisor II.

Weekday Days, Monday-Friday

Compensation & Benefits

Hiring Wage – CMO Training Supervisor I: $81,825.00–$120,000 annually.

Hiring Wage – CMO Training Supervisor II: $89,250.00–$130,900 annually.

Hiring Wage – CMO Training Supervisor III: $102,075.00–$149,700 annually.
