Physician Assistant Cardiology

*Job Description*We are a well-established cardiology practice in Lakewood Ranch, looking for an experienced Physician Assistant to join our team. This position is primarily outpatient but may involve a limited amount of inpatient coverage. You will perform a variety of essential tasks, including patient assessments, and the development and implementation of tailored treatment plans. We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled professional with a strong medical background in cardiology, complemented by excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This is a full time position offering a flex schedule that will include some weekends.*Physician Assistant - Cardiology Responsibilities & Duties** Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations* Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists* Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments as necessary* Educate patients and their families about cardiac conditions and preventive care*Physician Assistant - Cardiology Qualifications & Skills** Previous experience in cardiology, internal medicine, or related field* Strong understanding of cardiovascular diseases and treatments* Ability to interpret EKG, echocardiograms, and other diagnostic testing* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities* Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program* Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)* Active Florida licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant* Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifica...
