Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Artist – Furnishings to design and develop high-quality artistic concepts and visual assets for furniture and interior furnishing products. This role supports projects and clients that require U.S. citizenship due to contractual or regulatory obligations.

The ideal candidate combines strong artistic skills with practical knowledge of materials, finishes, and production-ready design for furnishing products.

Key Responsibilities

Create original artwork and design concepts for furniture and furnishing products

Develop sketches, renderings, mockups, and digital design assets

Collaborate with interior designers, product designers, engineers, and production teams

Design and specify colors, textures, fabrics, finishes, and surface treatments

Translate creative concepts into production-ready artwork and specifications

Ensure designs align with brand standards, trends, and functional requirements

Review prototypes, samples, and production outputs for artistic quality

Revise designs based on feedback, feasibility, and cost considerations

Maintain organized design files and documentation

Stay current on furnishing, interior design, and material trends

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Strong portfolio demonstrating artwork related to furnishings, furniture, or interiors

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

Hands-on experience with furniture materials, textiles, finishes, and surface treatments

Strong visual composition, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving skills

Ability to collaborate across creative and production teams

Citizenship & Work Authorization Requirement

U.S. Citizenship is required for this position due to project and contractual requirements

Candidates must be able to provide proof of U.S. citizenship upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with 3D or visualization tools (SketchUp, Rhino, Blender, AutoCAD)

Knowledge of furniture manufacturing or furnishing production processes

Experience in residential, hospitality, or commercial furnishing projects

Familiarity with sustainable materials and eco-friendly design practices
