Title:Warehouse Materials Handler
Reports to: Warehouse Purchasing/Receiving Supervisor
Department: Logistics
Required Permits/Licensing/Registration: Marijuana Establishment Agent Card, Valid Driver's License, Forklift and Scissor Lift Certification
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A
Overview:
Following policies set forth by the Company, provide support through the performance of tasks such as general warehouse upkeep, non-cannabis consumable supply maintenance, supply delivery/transfer execution, performance of vehicle checklists, and verification of accurate deliveries and shipments.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct maintenance tasks including, but not limited to:
- Weekly Interdepartmental PPE supply and deliveries
- Assist with delivery vehicle cleaning and maintenance
- Assist with material handling
- Assist with warehouse upkeep and organization
- Transporting non-cannabis consumable materials throughout facility
- Assist warehouse receiving tasks including, but not limited to:
- Verify and keep records on incoming shipments
- Transfer incoming shipments to final storage destination, utilizing a forklift
- Unpack, examine, and inventory incoming shipments
- Reject damaged items and record shortages, correspond with vendor to rectify
- Verify quantities received with Purchase Order
- Assist in the receipt, organization, distribution, and maintenance of all non-cannabis consumable material inventories
- Coordinate with the Logistics team in preparation for the delivery or pickup of other miscellaneous products, related to the Companys business needs, which may require employee to show proper personal identification
- Fulfill assigned responsibilities in line with procedures set forth by all department Standard Operating Procedures and subsequent training.

Job Specifications:

- Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, governmental agencies, community members and the public
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must pass all required background checks
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
Minimum Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous maintenance/logistics experience preferred
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience.
Working Conditions:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, walking, lifting, talking, hearing, seeing, standing, sitting, bending, twisting, climbing, and repetitive motions.
- The position requires safe and extensive use of hand and power tools
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance)
- Must be able to tolerate dusty, strong smelling marijuana odors and be able to tolerate exposure to the product.
Salary
