Picker

This position fills orders by selecting specified items from different areas in distribution center. Indicates items filled or omitted. Moves merchandise manually from one location to another. May process returned merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picks, scans, and stages customer orders by selecting specified items from various locations within the distribution center.
  • Ensures order accuracy, quality standards, and proper handling of materials throughout the fulfillment process.
  • Follows established standard work procedures and operational guidelines.
  • Complies with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Completes routine operational tasks under close to moderate supervision.
  • Exercises limited judgment in task execution and escalates issues as needed.

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum 1 years of experience in a similar environment.
  • Must be able to walk up to 8 hours a day.
  • Must be able to frequently carry (up to 30 feet each time) up to 60 lbs.
  • Have full range of motion of the waist and neck.
  • Have unrestricted use of upper extremities and perform over-head reaching.
  • Frequently bend (to the floor), twist, and kneel.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Ability to work in a non- temperature-controlled environment.
