As a CAD Design Engineer, you will develop fabrication drawings, plans, and details for custom products ranging from small to medium scales.

Responsibilities
Manage projects using engineering principles and techniques.
Develop small to mid-sized designs that can be produced to maintain or improve company’s competitive position.
Utilize 3D CAD software for applicable drafting/detailing. Work from specifications and product requirements.
Provide fabrication and purchasing instructions to prepare orders for manufacturing.
Complete Bill of Materials (BOM) and enter method of manufacturing into ERP system.
Qualifications
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in structural, civil, architectural, mechanical engineering, or related field of study
Required: Proficiency with 3D modeling software (Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, Revit, Tekla, Rhino, etc.)
Required: Proficiency with 2D AutoCAD
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as basic algebraic equations and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Experience: 0-4 years of experience (open to entry-level)
