Job Description Prepress Artist is responsible for preparing artwork and digital files for high-quality printing. The primary purpose is to ensure that all visual materials—such as packaging, marketing material, labels, etc.—are technically accurate, print-ready, and optimized for the intended production process. This role creates and modifies artwork for the Sales Service and requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
Required Knowledge Good understanding of manufacturing processes. Good to high understanding of PC and Macintosh. Knowledge of all related computer applications, including Illustrator, Photoshop, Suitcase Fusion, and Microsoft Suite.
Experience and Education High school graduate or equivalent.
College or technical degree preferred in related fields such as graphic design, visual communication, or printing technology.
Compensation & Benefits A reasonable estimate of the current range is $22 to $25 an hour plus bonus and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Salary is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
