.The Test Engineer II - Pumps & Compressors provides daily engineering support to all disciplines involved in factory acceptance testing of Honeywell Sundyne centrifugal pumps and compressors, including Product Engineering, Project Management, and Operations. Factory acceptance testing will include performance testing to confirm aerodynamics/hydraulics and machine output, mechanical testing to verify machine stability, and NPSH verification testing.This is an onsite role located in Arvada, CO.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Definition of testing requirements for API centrifugal pumps and compressors based on machine conditions and customer requirements to support production testing Review of test results and customer report generation Troubleshooting of test deficiencies including, but not limited to: Concerns with vibration, bearings, mechanical seals, performance and NPSH Provide key engineering support to test technicians Interact with customers during all stages of testing, including test setup, reporting, and witness testing Interact and coordinate testing with Project Management, Product Engineering, and Operations Maintenance and upkeep of engineering equipment and technology on the Honeywell Sundyne pump and compressor test stands, both hardware and
