Maintenance Technician

Position responsibilities includ

  • Flexible work schedule and excellent attendance a must.

  • Perform all activity associated with job requirements insuring your safety and the safety of others

  • Provide management with precise information and needs to increase machines reliability and reduce production interruptions from unplanned down time.

  • Knowledgeable in assembly manufacturing process.

  • Strong hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical troubleshooting ability with ability to make necessary repairs to all as needed.

  • Knowledgeable of interaction between electrical, plc and mechanical machinery.

  • Basic knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC logic and ability to make diagnostics and minor modifications to logic as required.

  • Maintenance of robotic work cells and automated equipment.

  • Basic welding, fabrication and pipe fitting

  • Operation of basic machine shop equipment such as drill press, lath, saws and etc.

  • Provide installation and startup support of new equipment and processes.

  • Ability to perform effective PM activity and make recommendations for improvements based on findings.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or effectively with groups

  • Able to work alternate schedules and overtime as required supporting manufacturing.

  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to operate lift trucks and Arial platforms

  • Strong familiarity of tools and meters currently available to perform requested tasks.

  • Strong understanding of Plant utilities and able to make sound decisions for installation of equipment.




Qualification Requirements


  • Computer and computer programs literate, both off the shelf software (Word, Excel) and developed/specialized applications

  • Proficient in pipe fitting; hydraulic repair; welding; machining; rigging; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs.

  • Full knowledge of the safety requirements that are applicable to the manufacturing floor and the appropriate response to them.
