Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring an Audio/Visual Specialist for an exciting opportunity.
Job Description And Responsibilities
The candidate shall provide daily on-site operational and sustainment support for installed classroom audiovisual equipment (hardware, software, and associated items of equipment to include networking and TEAMS video conferencing for classrooms). AVL-VC support covers around 425 classrooms, conference rooms and auditoriums to ensure all equipment is operational and required maintenance is being performed. Each classroom having standard designs with projection, displays, sound, lighting and control systems. Approximately 10 rooms across the campus have videoconferencing equipment that will require additional sustainment. The position requires excellent customer service skills and technical ability. Experience operating in a Government or Military culture is preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (KSA)
Basic knowledge/understanding of all equipment settings as they pertain to the normal operation of an Audio Visual & Information Technology systems.
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to climb/work at heights of 20 feet.
Desired KSA
Be a positive, self‑motivated, and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situations.
Effective communication with team members, team lead, management, and government customer.
Ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervision.
Minimum Training, Education, and Certifications
InfoComm International - Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) in Audio visual Technology Installation.
Basic Training in Crestron, AMX, Biamp, and Extron.
Associate's degree in a related field; OR three (3) years of technically related field experience in providing audio visual support.
Minimum Clearance
Secret.
Physical Requirements
Required to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Physical demands associated with this position include extensive walking (including stairs) throughout offices and between buildings. May require use of public transportation, personal or Government vehicle to drive to local and/or remote office locations.
