Job Description
BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Audio Project Manager for an Onsite in Redmond, WA opportunity.
Location: Onsite in Redmond, WA
Anticipated Start Date: 03/15/2026
Expected Duration: 6 Months
Job Type: Contract – FULL TIME (40 Hours a week)
Responsibilities
Drive project planning, execution, and delivery for research and feature development.
Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
Communicate project status, dependencies, and risks to stakeholders.
Ensure proper documentation of progress and completion of tasks and projects.
Oversee procurement of equipment and vendor services.
Support operational (non-research) projects and tasks as needed.
This role requires an onsite presence 5 days per week at the Redmond facilities.
3+ years of project management experience in research or product development.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Demonstrates proactive initiative and excels at managing multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
Effectively collaborates across functions, building strong partnerships with team members and stakeholders throughout the organization.
Possesses exceptional organizational and time management skills, ensuring priorities are met and deadlines consistently achieved.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
PMP or similar certification.
Top 3 Must-Have Hard Skills
Quick Prioritization: Ability to rapidly assess and organize medium-term goals (up to 3 months).
Risk Assessment: Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Ownership & Organization: Take charge of priorities, ensuring clarity within workstreams.
Collaboration: Work closely with multiple technical leads to prioritize and execute ongoing work.
Communication of Priorities: Ensure all stakeholders are aware of current priorities; elevate or initiate necessary conversations if priorities are unclear.
Concise Conveyance: Clearly communicate priorities within and across workstreams.
Technical Understanding: Possess a technical background to understand and articulate project goals.
Audio Background (Highly Desirable): While audio expertise is preferred, candidates with other technical backgrounds who can learn quickly are also valued.
Direct Oversight: Manage and track tasks and goals in collaboration with technical leads.
Progress Monitoring: Ensure timely completion and documentation of tasks.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with Agile methodologies is beneficial.
Machine learning experience.
