Position Summary
This position is responsible for performing the load in, set-up, operation, load out and maintenance of all types of audio, musical and other related equipment to be used for entertainment events.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for performing the load in, set-up, operations, load out and maintenance of all types of audio, musical and other related equipment to be used for entertainment events
Provides audio reinforcement for events
Installs and operates portable audio systems
Mixes audio for live events
Operates fork trucks and lift equipment
Secondary Duties And Responsibilities
Operates and maintains the casino music system
Drives trucks that are up to 24 feet in length
Cleans and maintains equipment
Assists with any and all entertainment production tasks, as needed
Minimum Education And Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Three years of experience working with professional audio equipment and live audio reinforcement, including digital and computer based systems
Previous experience rigging PA systems in an arena environment
Previous experience mixing live audio in an arena or other similar large venue
Competencies
Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
Good communication skills
Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
Knowledgeable in working with the Digital Signal Processing (DSP) operating system
Training Requirements
Knowledgeable in the operation of analog, digital and computer based professional audio equipment
Must be certified in the operation of fork trucks, motorized pallet jacks, scissor lifts and boom lifts
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend and climb for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift and move all necessary equipment up to 75 lbs.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions
Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
