Overview
Our Audio‑Visual Installation Technician will support the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of professional audio‑visual systems and related low‑voltage equipment. Reporting to our Field Operations Manager, they are responsible for completing work according to Site Specific Requirements while following all OSHA and Company Safety Regulations.

Primary Role
Installing and mounting AV equipment including displays, projectors, screens, speakers, microphones, cameras, and control devices
Reading and interpreting AV system drawings, wiring diagrams, rack elevations, and vendor specifications
Assisting with equipment rack building, device layout, cable management, and labeling
Pulling, testing, and terminating AV cabling including CAT6/6A, HDMI, audio cable, speaker wire, and fiber as required
Installing wall plates, ceiling speakers, touch panels, connection points, and AV infrastructure components
Supporting setup of AV over IP systems and network‑connected devices under direction of senior technicians
Troubleshooting basic audio, video, and control issues such as signal loss, no‑audio
o‑video, device communication errors, or wiring inconsistencies
Using multimeters, cable testers, tone generators, and AV testing equipment to validate installation quality
Updating installation documentation, labeling cables accurately, and communicating field conditions to project leadership
Coordinating with other trades under supervision to support project installation requirements
Implementing OSHA and Company safety standards on all job sites
Physical Requirements
This role requires physical dexterity for working in various environments including construction sites and finished office spaces
Individual must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time of 4–8 hours
Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, as needed
Individual may be required to climb multiple flights of stairs
Climb and work from a ladder up to 12 feet high and occasionally scaffolding as necessary
Lift up to 50 lbs
Must have finger, wrist, and arm dexterity
Responsible for reading and understanding assigned project documentation and determining if additional information is required
Travel
Some travel to different job locations will be required.

Must be responsible, self‑motivated, personable, and well‑organized
Superior customer service skills to interact with internal teams and clients
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing schedules

Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing, and follow‑through skills to support project completion
Must be able to effectively handle stressful or fast‑paced situations
Must be able to read and interpret technical and general business documentation
