Epsilon is a leader in the Off-Site Construction (OSC) industry, delivering mechanical/electrical-centric systems in a modular, prefabricated form, optimized for a streamlined on-site completion by us or others.
This role serves as a critical final quality checkpoint to ensure modular systems leave the shop fully prepared for efficient field installation, reducing site delays, minimizing rework, and improving customer satisfaction.
This position reports directly to the Quality Department and serves as a critical final quality checkpoint to ensure modular systems leave the shop fully prepared for efficient field installation. Working closely with fabrication, mechanical assembly, electrical teams, and engineering, this role verifies systems are built correctly, identifies constructability concerns before shipment, and helps reduce field delays, minimize rework, and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
-Verify assembly of pumps, valves, piping, instrumentation, and mechanical equipment

according to engineering drawings.
-Proactively identify constructability risks including piping interference, limited bolt access, serviceability concerns, clearance conflicts, equipment orientation issues, and installation sequencing challenges before shipment.
-Confirm proper installation and alignment of mechanical equipment and piping systems.
-Work with fabrication, welding, and electrical teams to resolve constructability issues during assembly.
-Work directly with engineering to resolve constructability concerns and improve future design, release, and installation performance.
-Assist with inspection activities and documentation supporting system readiness prior to shipment.
-Support quality documentation and turnover records for completed assemblies.
-Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring field installation issues to improve future production quality and installation efficiency.
-Participate in final shipment readiness reviews and verify modules meet quality and constructability requirements prior to release.
Qualifications
-1-3 years' experience working with modular mechanical systems, equipment skids, or industrial piping assemblies.
-Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, piping isometrics, and equipment layouts.
-Working knowledge of pumps, valves, piping systems, and mechanical equipment installation.
-Experience identifying constructability or installation issues during assembly.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with shop and engineering teams.
-Strong understanding of field installation practices, constructability, and serviceability requirements in modular construction environments.
