The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking a leader to join the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) team as the manager for the Fleet Support Equipment portfolio.
Location
Cape Canaveral, FL. This position does not support teleworking. The work will be performed onsite at our Lockheed Martin Space facility, with a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time. Relocation services will not be provided.
Role Overview
What does this role look like?
You will manage a team of electrical and software engineers responsible for development and sustainment of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for the FBM D5LE program.
Key Responsibilities
Primary responsibility for the technical execution of development and sustainment of ATE projects, requiring strong technical background in electrical and/or software engineering.
Partner with the program management team to ensure projects are executed within cost and schedule; project management experience required.
Responsible for staffing, training, mentoring, technical problem solving, ensuring adherence to processes and procedures, and performance management.
Qualifications
To be effective in this role, you will need:
Experience in both design and test of electrical military hardware.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance; US Citizenship required.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of B.S. in a technical engineering discipline from an accredited college/university.
Strong technical background and project leadership experience in developing and sustaining military hardware.
Experience developing and managing a project budget and schedule, managing risks and opportunities, and managing to metrics.
Proposal/cost-estimating experience.
Qualified candidate must have the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.
Desired Skills
Experience developing and sustaining Automated Test Equipment.
Analog, Digital, and/or RF design experience.
Software development experience.
Hardware and/or software architecture development experience.
Experience working on Naval contracts.
Knowledge of cyber security concepts.
