
Senior Embedded Software Design Engineer

Responsibilities
Lead product software/firmware design efforts for product development
Develop products from initial concept through production release
Interface with customers to develop product applications
Perform root cause analysis efforts with respect to software controls
Provide leadership to project teams
Mentor project team members
Support sustaining engineering efforts, process improvements
Provide and/or direct technical customer support as required
Provide technical sales and marketing support as required
Train and support other technical staff members while performing his/her job functions
Assist the sales/marketing team to support and develop customers.
Job Requirements
Computer skills: Ability to learn computer programs specific to the Company.
Qualification Requirement
Embedded Software Design using C, C++, RISC, Assembly languages, et.al.
Communications Design Including:
802.11 Ethernet up to 10GE
G.703 T1, T3
Fiber Channel up to 10 x FC
SPI, I2C, RS-232/422
Digital Circuit Design and timing Analysis
Embedded Controller Hardware and Software Design, Verilog HDL, Simulation, Synthesis, and Implementation
Software Configuration Management and Documentation
FPGA/CPLD Design and Tools
