Bachelors or Masters degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. This contract opportunity offers two full-time roles for dedicated school psychologists for the new school year in the Algonquin area, working collaboratively with fellow educators and families. In this position, you’ll provide essential psychological services—helping students access education, succeed academically, and thrive emotionally. With 37.5 hours per week, you have the flexibility to shape your caseload based on your strengths and interests, creating a personalized and rewarding work experience. Qualifications:Current and active Illinois School Psychologist license required Professional Educator License (PEL) must be held to be eligible Previous experience in school settings is highly valued Strong commitment to fostering student success and advocating for diverse learner needs Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:Conduct evaluations, assessments, and interpret test results to support students’ educational plans Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies for student success Design and implement evidence-based interventions and recommend resources for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings; contribute professional expertise to multidisciplinary teams Promote safe, supportive, and positive school environments through crisis response, counseling, and advocacy
