Description
Team Fishel is looking for a Sewer Camera Truck Operator with related sewer maintenance equipment and video technologies for our Columbus , OH office! The primary purpose of this position is to verify that existing sewer infrastructure is free of utility cross bores, primarily on gas mains and services. Team Fishel is focused on aggressively growing this business in the Ohio marketplace and is already experiencing rapid growth!
Responsibilities
Visually verify the locations of sewer facilities and determine whether there are intersections (cross bores) inside those facilities.
Exhibit strong communication and professional customer-facing skills by working directly with our primary customer as well as local municipalities, and state and federal agencies.
Maintain flawless inventory of tools and supplies in the company vehicle.
Maintain and troubleshoot all tooling and technology equipment, keeping them in top working order and in exceptional cleanliness conditions.
Strictly adhere to Team Fishel's safety policies and procedures, including PPE, traffic, and confined space standards.
Record and keep precise, thorough, detailed, neat, and organized information for project and customer purposes.
Perform all objectives and execute the daily plan as laid out by the Sewer Camera Truck Crew Leader, working effectively in a two-person crew.
Project Responsibilities
Maintain professional relationships with customers on a daily basis.
Lift and lower a 75 lbs camera.
Follow procedures to ensure timely reporting of findings to our customer.
Create and maintain excellent and professional customer relationships, exceeding expectations to encourage additional opportunities for Team Fishel.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED certificate.
Basic knowledge of hand tools.
Willingness to travel for projects.
Working knowledge of Granite XP software from CUES manufacturer.
Above average knowledge of utility construction (specifically natural gas) and/or water/wastewater industry.
Bilingual skills and prior construction experience are a plus.
