About this Role IFS InfraSource is looking for a Camera Truck Operator to be a key member of our field crew. The Camera Truck Operator performs duties as directed by the foreman while operating specialized camera inspection equipment mounted on a truck to assess and document the condition of underground pipelines and related infrastructure.
What You'll Do Safely operate camera truck and related inspection equipment
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the truck and equipment, checking fluids, calibrating cameras, and ensuring proper functionality
Perform pipeline inspections using robotic camera systems, recording video and capturing data for analysis
Accurately document findings, prepare inspection reports, and upload data to designated systems
Assist with site safety measures during operations
Participate in daily job hazard analysis and adhere to all safety protocols
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of equipment and truck
Ability to travel and work in varying weather conditions
What You'll Bring High school Diploma or equivalent
2-3 Years job related experience or Military equivalent
Experience operating camera systems or similar inspection equipment preferred
Basic computer skills for data entry and report preparation
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
Must hold a valid Driver’s License
CDL & DOT Medical Card – If driving company vehicle
Pass Pre-Employment drug screen and background check
Must be able to stand or walk for long periods with repeated lifting (Up to 50 lbs.), kneeling, crawling, climbing and reaching
