
Design Engineer
Dunlop Sports Americas, Huntington Beach, CA, United States
Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 annually (based on 40 hours/week). Non-Exempt - Eligible for Overtime.
Job Summary
Responsible for contributing to the design, development, testing, and commercialization of new technologies and innovations relating to improved golf club performance. A Design Engineer I works with the R&D team to support the mission of our department: to develop best‑in‑class golf equipment. This engineering role will be involved in a variety of product categories in both a research and development capacity.
Essential Job Duties
Create golf clubhead designs using CAD software (NX).
Conduct analytical research to improve the performance of golf club products.
Document specifications, create drawings, maintain spec databases.
Use proprietary advanced modeling software.
Work closely with engineers, designers, CAD specialists, and Marketing personnel throughout research, development, and product launch phases.
Prepare, organize, and otherwise communicate findings in technical reports to management and other stakeholders as necessary.
Interact and communicate with domestic and international component suppliers to convey design and engineering requirements.
Participate in process improvement initiatives.
