Senior Camera Engineer Job at Qualcomm in San Diego

Position Overview

This individual independently plans, performs the moderately-defined responsibility for researching, designing, developing, implementing, and verifying complex camera systems and hardware or firmware tasks (including Camera Image Signal Processor (ISP), 3A (AWB, AEC, AF), Image Quality, Features, Tuning Tools), algorithms, features, logic design, modeling, and design verification.

Performs architecture, IQ modules, algorithm and feature decomposition to drive requirements and specifications for hardware development. Ensures image quality, systems performance, ISP area and power metrics are met. Acts as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.


• Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and five (5) years of progressive experience in a related occupation.


• Suitable combinations of education, training, or experience will be considered.

Compensation

$122,500.00 - $183,700.00 per year.
