Camera Survey Technician
Department: Warnell-Sch Forestry & Nat Res
Location: Athens Area
Position Summary
Worker will tag infrared trail camera photos to species and tagging deer photos to sex, age, and unique identifying markers. Both duties will assist a deer research project funded by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission investigating population-level impacts of Chronic Wasting Disease of white-tailed deer in northwestern Arkansas.
Responsibilities
photo tagging and data entry
Education and Experience
College credits pursuing a degree in wildlife management or a related field.
Skills and Knowledge
Ability to discern animals by species in photographs, record data accurately.
Physical Demands
Office work, sitting for more than 4 hours per day at a computer work station.
