The Multimedia Systems team offers an exciting opportunity to work on best‑in‑class technologies of camera, video encoding/decoding, and computer vision—heart of billions of Snapdragon devices worldwide. The team handles system‑level architecture; analysis, budgeting, and optimization of all multimedia use cases to achieve lowest power and best performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop efficient multimedia system architectures that meet power, performance, and cost goals.
Analyze power for selected use cases using system models for chosen architectures.
Roll out architectural analysis and proposals to hardware and software design teams.
Follow progress through the execution and commercialization of the SOC to ensure goals are met and modeling assumptions are validated.
Support Mobile, Compute, IoT, and Automotive OEMs to optimize power on their commercial devices.
Minimum Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience or coursework related to low‑power design/analysis, computer architecture, or hardware/software systems design/architecture.
Preferred Requirements
Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
2+ years experience working on systems analysis and modeling using detailed modeling tools.
2+ years experience with system‑level aspects of low‑power design, modeling and analyzing power and performance at the system level.
Courses and/or experience in camera/image processing, video compression, or related areas.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Pay Range And Other Compensation & Benefits
$99,400.00 – $149,200.00
