About The Team
The Product Partnerships & Business Development team drives growth and innovation across DoorDash’s New Verticals business by identifying, structuring, and scaling strategic partnerships. The team works closely with senior leadership and cross-functional partners to assess the competitive landscape, unlock new capabilities, and inform build, buy, or partner decisions that strengthen DoorDash’s products and services. Our work spans cross-product, cross-vertical, and cross-geography opportunities to help deliver differentiated solutions to merchants and customers.
About The Role
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial and strategic operator who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building from the ground up, and is motivated by driving measurable impact. As Associate Manager, Product Partnerships – New Verticals, you will lead strategic partnerships that expand DoorDash’s product capabilities, unlock new growth opportunities, and support innovation across emerging categories. You will work closely with Product, Strategy, Operations, Sales, Finance, and external partners to identify high-impact opportunities, shape partnership strategy, execute deals, and help bring new solutions to market.
You will sit on the Product Partnerships & Business Development team and report to the Senior Manager, Product Partnerships & Business Development.

Source, evaluate, and manage strategic partnerships that strengthen DoorDash’s New Verticals product ecosystem
Build relationships with key external partners, lead deal processes, and manage a portfolio of high-impact commercial and integration partnerships
Help define partnership strategy by assessing market trends, identifying ecosystem gaps, and developing business cases that inform build, buy, or partner decisions
Own business outcomes by translating data and insights into partnership strategies and operational plans that enable scalable growth
Influence internal and external stakeholders by advocating for solutions that create value for merchants, partners, and DoorDash
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Account Management, Operations, Analytics, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to launch and scale partnerships successfully
Use data to evaluate partner performance, shape recommendations, inform deal terms, and measure impact against key business goals
Stay close to the evolving technology and partner ecosystem, proactively identifying new trends and opportunities that can strengthen DoorDash’s competitive position
We’re Excited About You Because…
You have 5–7 years of experience in an external-facing role across business development, partnerships, strategy, consulting, operations, banking, tech, or a related field
You have experience supporting or leading business negotiations, including commercial discussions and contract review processes
You have experience bringing new products, partnerships, or business initiatives to market
You are persuasive and effective at aligning partners and internal stakeholders around a shared opportunity
You enjoy working cross-functionally and have a track record of influencing teams to drive outcomes
You demonstrate strong ownership across multiple projects and workstreams, with the ability to move fluidly between strategy and execution
You are humble, hungry, and biased toward action, and you are willing to get in the weeds when needed
You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable using structured thinking and imperfect data to make sound recommendations
You solve problems from first principles and are energized by tackling complex challenges in strategic and creative ways
You have a Bachelor’s degree; MBA or Master’s degree is a plus

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future. Paid Time Off Details
For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked, and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado: $110,600—$162,800 USD.
