Camera Quality Inspection Technician

Position Overview
As a Camera Quality Inspection Technician, you’ll help evaluate incoming photographic gear—from digital cameras to vintage film models—ensuring everything meets our high quality standards before it reaches our customers. You’ll receive thorough on‑the‑job training and be supported every step of the way as you develop valuable technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect and test various photographic equipment, including digital, 35mm, medium format, and large format cameras, as well as lenses and accessories.
Identify functional or cosmetic issues such as haze, dust, fungus, scratches, or mechanical faults.
Grade equipment based on KEH’s standardized quality scale.
Record and document all findings accurately in our internal systems.
Collaborate with Receiving and Sorting teams to maintain workflow and quality standards.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and handle all tools and equipment with care.
Skills Needed
Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks.
A natural curiosity or interest in how mechanical or electronic devices work—photography interest is a plus!
Willingness to learn new skills in a supportive, hands‑on environment.
Ability to follow instructions carefully and document findings clearly.
Professional communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Comfort working while seated or standing for long periods, and using small tools with care.
Bonus if you have experience with electronics, camera equipment, or quality control—but not required.
Language Skills
Must have a basic command of the English language, including the ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions.
Physical Demands
