Work Environment & Schedule:
Communications Consultant Role
Onsite role (In-person required)
40 hours per week
Location : Steedman MO 65077
Flexible start time: 5:30 AM – 7:30 AM
Every other Friday off
Occasional weekend work may be required
Team Structure:
Team of 3 supporting Nuclear Communications
Role Overview:
Focus on video production, video editing, and graphic design
Strong preference for candidates with a creative background
Supporting internal communications for approximately 700 employees
Key Responsibilities:
Create and manage internal newsletters and communications content
Develop digital and visual assets including:
Posters
Newsletters
Logos
PowerPoint layouts
Digital signage graphics
Work on video production projects in collaboration with Brand Manager
Support corporate video initiatives and “newscast-style” content
Assist with training animations (experience with tools like Animation software / Adobe tools preferred)
Manage and publish content via SharePoint
Required Skills & Tools:
Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro, InDesign, Photoshop)
Experience with Canva and social media content creation
Strong creative mindset with visual storytelling ability
Proficiency in MS 365
Experience with newsletter formatting and content creation
Candidate Profile:
3–5 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Strong portfolio is highly preferred (must include with submission)
Freelance experience is acceptable (must show consistency and quality)
Industry experience is not required
Interview Process:
1 Round Panel Interview (3 interviewers) – preferably in person
Possible 2nd round with Leadership (if needed)
