Amazon’s checkout‑free shopping experience is driven by our Just Walk Out Technology, which uses computer vision, sensor fusion, and advanced machine learning to detect when products are taken from or returned to shelves. As part of a high‑reach, entrepreneurial team, you will design customer‑facing digital experiences that span mobile apps, corporate applications, and associate tools, while collaborating with product, research, software, operations, and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including product, research, engineering, operations, and business—to create user experiences with direct impact on customers.
Co‑design alongside industrial, store, and partner UX designers to align on feasible, viable solutions.
Meet with customers and store associates to observe behavior, gather insights, and run usability evaluations.
Synthesize insights into new ideas that influence strategy or incremental product improvements.
Build mockups, prototypes, and finalized designs for engineering hand‑off.
Advocate for user needs, balancing feasibility and business goals throughout the product lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications
Strong experience designing mass‑market consumer web or mobile products.
Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment and partner directly with developers to implement designs.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience creating consumer‑facing web or mobile products.
Experience working closely with developers to translate design concepts into production.
Salary & Benefits
Base salary ranges by location:
Sunnyvale, CA – $135,500.00 – $184,000.00 USD annually
New York, NY – $129,600.00 – $176,000.00 USD annually
Seattle, WA – $117,800.00 – $160,000.00 USD annually
Your package will include sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, vision, prescription, life insurance, EAP, mental health support, flexible spending accounts, adoption and surrogacy reimbursement, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
