Adjunct Instructor of Communication Studies – Online
Young Harris College invites applications for a part‑time, non‑tenure‑track position starting August 2026.
The primary duty is to teach the online course COMM 1100 Public Speaking for the YHC Dual Enrollment program.
The 16‑week Moodle‑based course is pre‑built; the instructor facilitates the course, tracks student participation, provides timely feedback, and maintains frequent communication with students.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Communication Studies (or related discipline).
Strong commitment to teaching in a liberal‑arts undergraduate curriculum.
Comfortable with technology; experience with Moodle is a plus.
Course enrollments are capped at a reasonable size.
Compensation is per course.
