The Role: We’re looking for a Community Manager to build and activate the Loops Lab community in New York through high-energy IRL moments and always-on digital engagement. You’ll be the bridge between the brand and real people, turning followers into members and members into advocates. This role also supports lead capture and content capture through events, pop-ups, and creator relationships to fuel the broader Loops Lab growth engine. This role reports to the CMO.

What you will do: Build and grow Loops Lab’s community presence in NYC (IRL + digital)
Plan and execute IRL moments: pop ups, activations, meetups, partner events
Source and manage relationships with creators + superfans + community advocates
Support lead capture at events/pop ups (QR codes, giveaways, sign ups, simple tracking)
Capture IRL content + UGC from events and community, and deliver weekly “content drops” to the Social Media Manager
Share community insights weekly (what people love, objections, requests, trends) to inform content + GTM
Manage day-to-day engagement across community channels (social DMs, comments, Discord/Slack/WhatsApp, email, etc.)
Monitor all community channels daily and respond in a timely, brand-aligned way
Answer questions, guide new members, and keep conversations active and welcoming
Moderate discussions (spam, negativity, inappropriate behavior) and protect community culture
Proactively spark engagement through prompts, polls, shoutouts, and mini-moments
Build relationships with community creators and superfans to drive consistent organic UGC
Curate, organize, and amplify UGC across Loops Lab channels, coordinating with Social/Marketing for reposts and campaigns
Foster meaningful relationships with superfans, creators, and brand advocates
Act as the voice of the community internally - sharing insights, feedback, and trends
Collaborate with Social, Affiliate, and Marketing teams to activate the community around launches and campaigns
Create programs that reward loyalty and participation
Set the tone for how Loops Lab shows up in conversations
Who you are: 2–5+ years experience in community management, brand engagement, or social/community roles in the music / gaming / pop-culture sector.
Natural connector - you love bringing people together
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Comfortable hosting events and being the face of the brand in IRL settings
Deep understanding of internet culture and community dynamics
Based in New York, NY
Extra Credit if... Have built or managed a brand community before
Have experience running IRL events or pop-ups
Have worked with lifestyle, culture, fashion, beauty, or wellness brands
Are plugged into NYC culture and creative communities
