PREPRESS TECHNICIAN

We print, process and deliver to locations throughout Iowa!
This is a Part-Time Position that would work about 20-25 hours per week.
No experience necessary.
If you have computer skills, are reliable and willing to learn, we will train you.
Prepress Operators manage the crucial first stage in the printing process, ensuring optimal image quality. Responsibilities include adjusting images, correcting errors, and preparing files for printing, ensuring a seamless transition to the press.
Responsibilities:
*Prepare and preflight incoming files for print production
*Review and troubleshoot files to ensure they meet print standards and specifications
*Operate and maintain prepress equipment, including computer-to-plate systems and digital proofing devices
*Create and modify digital artwork and layouts
*Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure timely and accurate file processing
*Ensure all final files are accurate and ready for production
*Manage and maintain digital file archives
*Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in prepress technology
