Unarmed Security Officer

Part Time Shifts Available - Pay Rate: $23/hr.

The Unarmed Security Officer is responsible for day-to-day security operations at client facilities. Officers serve as the primary contact point for clients, ensuring adherence to Post Orders and reporting violations of security policy or procedure.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide security support and guidance to clients and staff

* Ensure compliance with Post Orders and directives

* Monitor and report violations or suspicious activities, including:

* Access control procedures

* Credential/access ID usage

* Unauthorized presence in restricted areas

* Deviations from approved patrol routes

* Unauthorized photography, recording, or removal of assets

* Support internal security team operations (situational awareness, threat/risk monitoring)

* Assist with desk operations (watch operations)

* Prepare clear, concise written reports

Candidate Qualifications

* U.S. Citizen, 21+ years of age

* High school diploma or GED required

* Valid State Guard Card

* Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

* 2+ years of related experience (Security, Law Enforcement, Military, or similar)

* Customer/client engagement experience

* Preferred: experience in threat intelligence collection and reporting

* Strong communication and customer service skills

* Ability to engage professionally with VIPs and special visitors

Physical Requirements

* Ability to walk premises-including outdoor areas-and climb multiple flights of stairs during patrols

* Ability to lift, drag, and carry 50 pounds or more as needed for operational duties or emergencies

Technical Skills

* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel

* Ability to create temporary badges for visitors and employees

Scheduling & Flexibility

* Must be flexible with 24-48-hour schedule changes due to weather or safety conditions

Customer Service Expectations

* Must be able to professionally engage with: Public visitors, Clients and special guests, Client employees, Fellow staff members
