We are hiring Solar PV Technicians II to support commercial and industrial solar projects across Arizona, primarily in Maricopa County. This role is intended for installers who already have hands-on solar experience and can work independently on standard installation tasks with minimal supervision.
We’ve secured a long-term contract running through 2028 and are expanding our field crews accordingly.
Position start date: February 1, 2026 with onboarding and training occurring during January.

The opportunity: As a Solar PV Technician II, you will play a key role in the installation of solar arrays, working alongside foremen and senior technicians. You are expected to understand standard solar installation practices, assist less experienced crew members, and complete assigned tasks with limited oversight.Å
This position reports to the Mechanical Foreman.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
Install solar racking systems according to project plans and specifications
Mount and secure solar modules on ground-mount and rooftop systems
Perform solar array stringing, including proper routing and management of conductors
Install and connect MC4 and similar solar connectors correctly and safely
Verify mechanical alignment, torque, and hardware installation
Work safely around energized and non-energized electrical components
Support material staging, tool management, and site organization
Assist with troubleshooting minor installation or fitment issues
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
Communicate effectively with foremen and crew members
Requirements

Demonstrated experience installing commercial or utility-scale solar arrays
Hands-on experience with common solar racking hardware and fastening systems
Experience performing solar array stringing and installing connectors (MC4 or equivalent)
Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in Arizona conditions
Proficient with hand and power tools used in solar construction
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform sustained physical labor
Strong safety awareness and adherence to jobsite protocols
Ability to read and follow written instructions and basic layout drawings
Reliable attendance and punctuality
