The NAND Verification Engineering Group (NVEG) at Micron supports the development of advanced memory products by delivering high‑quality digital circuit designs and verification solutions. The team works in highly technical, multi-functional environments to ensure Micron products meet demanding performance, quality, and reliability standards.

The Design Engineer, NVEG plays a key role in designing, analyzing, and verifying digital circuits used in NAND memory product development. This position requires strong technical expertise and leadership to implement, optimize, and validate circuit designs across the full development lifecycle, from concept through silicon validation.

Responsibilities

Interpret device and system specifications to deliver required circuit functionality and performance

Participate in the conception, architecture definition, and development of new digital circuit features

Build and support schematics, RTL blocks, and composition architecture specifications

Perform RTL, synthesized netlist, gate‑level, and post‑layout develop verification at block, subsystem, and full‑chip levels

Collaborate with Product Engineering on validation plans, silicon results review, reticle testing, qualification, and updates to tape‑out

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Experience designing and analyzing digital circuits for semiconductor or memory products

Ability to interpret product requirements, device specifications, and logic diagrams

Experience with RTL design, Verilog verification, and gate‑level simulation

Knowledge of design verification practices, netlist bring‑up, and post‑layout simulation

Experience supporting silicon validation and reviewing silicon results

Preferred Qualifications

Experience defining and presenting best‑known build and verification practices within an engineering organization

Experience collaborating with multi-functional internal and external engineering teams

Experience supporting full‑chip verification and sophisticated subsystem integration

Familiarity with reticle experiments, qualification activities, and tape‑out revisions

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$80,000.00 - $170,000.00 a year

Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job‑related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
