About the Role
As an
Administration Officer , you will provide professional administrative support across Murray Bridge Soldiers Memorial Hospital, ensuring excellent customer service for both internal and external clients. Your responsibilities will include attending to client enquiries, coordinating appointments, assisting with correspondence and record management, and providing accurate word processing and desktop publishing support. You will also liaise with staff, other health units, and external organisations to ensure seamless administrative processes.
You will maintain accurate electronic and hardcopy records, ensuring case notes and client data meet minimum standards and contributing to the overall management of client records. In addition, you will promote a safe and positive work environment by complying with workplace policies, participating in quality improvement initiatives, supporting infection control practices, and enhancing cultural awareness through ongoing training.
Please note:
This role requires a willingness to work across a 24/7 roster, including weekends and public holidays, to support the continuous operations of the hospital.
What We’re Looking For
A high level of competency in the use of computers, word processing and office administration processes and procedures.
Experience in providing administrative & clerical support services.
Sound word processing and data entry skills.
