Overview 12-Month Contract | Potential Extension
Industrial Systems Consulting is seeking an experienced CAD Drafter to support a large oil & gas refinery in Billings, Montana. This onsite role requires strong CAD expertise and the ability to work with complex engineering and process documentation.
Responsibilities Develop and update engineering drawings using CAD software
Create and modify P&IDs, PFDs, and related design documents
Interpret redlines, sketches, and engineering markups
Read and translate P&IDs, piping layouts, isometrics, and equipment drawings
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications
Collaborate with engineering and project teams on refinery projects
Qualifications 5+ years of CAD drafting experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar tools
Strong experience with P&IDs, PFDs, and industrial design documents
Knowledge of piping systems and instrumentation symbols
Oil & gas, refining, or petrochemical experience preferred
Ability to work onsite in Billings, MT
Compensation Competitive hourly rate
