
SOC Design Verification - MSAP Group

Responsibilities Overseeing definition, designing, verification, and documentation for ASIC development
Determining architecture design, logic design, and system simulation
Defining module interfaces/formats for simulation
Contributing to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits
Working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Exercising judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
Networking with key contacts outside own area of expertise
Developing System-on-Chips [SoCs] targeted towards Power Management IC’s-PMIC, Touch Controllers, and other new initiatives
Architecting and creating verification environments using SystemVerilog and Universal Verification Methodology-UVM for SoCs with embedded CPUs and analog mixed‑signal interfaces
Developing test plans and coverage metrics from specifications and writing block and chip‑level tests
Creating PERL/Python scripts to automate creating verification environments, test generation and debugging
Conducting failure analysis of Register Transfer Level and Gate simulations and resolving them by working with design engineers
Working with architects to determine the use‑case scenarios to simulate
Writing diagnostics for validation of Field Programmable Gate Array prototype and application‑specific integrated circuit
Participating in silicon bring‑up for features owned and replicating silicon bugs in simulation environment and validating fixes for software workarounds
Converting verification tests to test patterns and assisting Test Engineers on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) vector bring‑up
Evaluating latest verification methodologies and developing scripts to automate verification flows
Responding to customer requests as they occur and assisting in the development of embedded firmware
Salary Estimated Min Rate: $110.00
Estimated Max Rate: $120.00
