Job Summary
To act as a Resource Specialist at one or more school sites for the Santa Barbara County Education Office Special Education Program. Responsibilities include assessment, instruction and evaluation of identified Special Education students with a variety of learning disabilities.
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid Mild/Moderate Special Education Credential or willingness to pursue appropriate certification. This will be part of a 1.0FTE assignment consisting of Resource Specialist 60% position 2808 based in Santa Ynez Valley, servicing Ballard Elementary School District and Vista del Mar Union School District, along with IEP Team Chairperson 40% position 2539 based in Santa Maria. Vacancy is for the 2026-2027 school year.
Resource Specialist is based on 186-day salary schedule CE-A-186.
