Pay Range: $85,000 - $105,000/year + Eligible for annual performance-based bonus

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sr. Store Design & Development Specialist to support our U.S. offline store expansion. This role will lead end-to-end store development, from space planning and design to construction management and post-opening maintenance. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience in retail interior design and construction, with a collaborative and proactive mindset aligned with Olive Young’s brand values.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with landlords, city agencies, and external consultants to ensure project compliance and approvals

Manage multiple store projects simultaneously across different phases (design, permitting, construction, and post-opening)

Proactively identify project risks and resolve issues related to design, construction, and permitting

Execute store layout and interior design plans based on design guidelines provided by HQ in Korea

Develop store-specific elements such as fixtures, signage, and spatial customization

Collaborate closely with the Korean HQ design team for design approvals and direction alignment

Prepare construction execution plans: select architects and general contractors (GC), manage permitting, budgeting, and scheduling

Oversee the full construction process including timeline, quality, safety, and cost control

Manage store assets post-opening, including registering and organizing facility systems

Research and define optimal construction details to implement new design concepts

Refine fixture/signage production and installation methods for both factory and on-site execution

Build and manage a pool of architects and contractors for various project scopes

Ensure agility through annual contracts or preferred vendor agreements

Manage ongoing maintenance for operating stores (interior, fixtures, signage, etc.)

Plan and execute small-scale renovations and upgrades when necessary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Interior Design, Environmental Design, or a related field

Minimum 6-8 years of experience in interior design and construction project management

At least 1 year of experience working on global brand retail projects

Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and related design software; MS Office skills required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in beauty, cosmetics, skincare, or lifestyle retail brands

Experience in flagship, concept, or strategic store design projects

Bilingual in Korean and English (professional working proficiency, including documentation)

Proficient in 3D Max

Willing and able to travel internationally if required
