CNC Horizontal Milling Machinist (3rd Shift)

Location: Job Shop in a Manufacturing Plant

Shift: 3rd Shift (10 PM - 6 AM)

Compensation: Off-Shift Premium of $1.50, Paid Breaks and Lunch (two 15-min breaks, one 20-min lunch)

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC horizontal milling machines for low volume/high mix machining
• Use M&G codes to command CNC equipment (cutting and non-cutting functions)
• Work with quality measurement tools: micrometers, thread gages, bore gages, calipers, height gages
• Utilize a Tool Matrix System with 120 tools capacity
• Handle multi-axis machining for complex parts
• Mastercam experience preferred; knowledge of Fusion, Gibbs, Solid Edge, etc. is transferable
• Conduct machine shop calculations and make edits/offset adjustments to programs

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of CNC horizontal milling experience (manufacturing or machining)
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Proficient with M&G codes and blueprint reading
• Ability to independently set up machinery and validate compliance with measurement tools
• Machine Tool Technology degree preferred but not required
• Basic computer skills required
