Material Handler, 7 am to 3:30 pm, Mon-Fri

The Role:

Our site in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking aMaterial Handlerto join our team. This position plays a vital role in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuringaccuratemovement, storage, and documentation of materials throughout the facility. Working under established procedures and close supervision, the Material Handleris responsible forreceiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods; preparing and staging materials for production; and performingtimelyandaccurateinventory transactions.

This role helpsmaintainefficient material flow by verifying shipments against purchase orders,identifyingand reporting discrepancies, and preparing products and components for internal distribution or outbound shipment. Material Handlersalsocontributesto operational effectiveness bymaintainingclean and organized storage areas, following properpackagingand labeling standards, and ensuring adherence to all safety and quality requirements.

WhatYou'llDo:

• Move raw materials to theappropriate workstations

• Complete SAP (warehouse management system) transactions

• Complete specified function of 6S responsibilities; specifically, sort, set in order, shine, sustain, safety

• Putproductaway physically into location and in SAP

• Ability to use Fork Truck and ladders safely and effectively to support daily company and department objectives

• Supports inventory control in conducting weekly cycle counts, delegated inventory tasks, and adhering to implemented process improvements

• Kit finished and semi-finished goods to specifications from ordersutilizinga combination of packaging materials and instructions with a high degree of accuracy

• Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment andmaintainon-time kitting

• Picks, processes,closesand stages or delivers orders to work centers

• Utilizes Reach Truck, Fork Truck and WAV mobile equipment safely and effectively to support daily company and department objectives

• Performs scheduled issues of requested components/materials,additionalparts, reservations, resupply materials, andconsolidatesand delivers work order materials

• Miscellaneoustasksassigned in support of the larger organization and production goals

What We Seek:

• High School Diploma or equivalentrequired

• Somewarehousingor relatedexperiencepreferred

• Ability to safelyoperatematerial handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks, WAVs)

• Basic computer skills (email, data entry, inventory systems)

• SAP familiarity a plus

• Astute attention to detail to drive Safety and Quality

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment

• Comfortable operating heavy equipment

• Flexibility to work any shift needed to support business demands

Physical Requirements:

• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Capable of performing visual inspections and handling materials responsibly while wearing required PPE

• Regularly lift and/or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds

• Safely work at heights, including climbing ladders or accessing elevated platforms, asrequired

• Stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods in a manufacturing environment
