Fagone Plumbing, Heating & HVAC is seeking a highly experienced *Senior Service Technician* to join our service-only division. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who excels in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and customer-facing service work.
As a senior member of the team, you'll operate independently, lead by example, and help uphold the high standards our North Shore community expects. This is a *no-installation role*, focused strictly on maintenance, repair, and system performance.
*Responsibilities*
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems independently
* Perform advanced system evaluations and recommend solutions to customers
* Execute routine maintenance and service under the Fagone Service Plan
* Deliver exceptional customer communication and education on system performance
* Maintain accurate service records and documentation
* Mentor junior technicians and support team development
* Ensure all work meets company standards, safety codes, and best practices
* Participate in an on-call rotation as part of the service team
*Qualifications*
* *10+ years of HVAC service experience (residential required)*
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving expertise across heating and cooling systems
* Valid Massachusetts driver's license with a clean driving record
* EPA Certification required
* Proven ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Experience mentoring or leading junior technicians is a strong plus
