Position Summary
The Creative Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Creative Division. This individual will serve as a central hub for project coordination, team operations, and cross‑functional communication, ensuring that creative work is delivered efficiently, on time, and at a high standard. This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and eager to gain exposure to a wide range of creative and marketing initiatives within the sports industry.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Workflow Coordination
Support the execution of creative projects from intake through delivery
Track timelines, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects
Maintain and update project plans, briefs, and asset libraries (e.g., Smartsheet)
Coordinate internal reviews, approvals, and asset distribution
Assist in managing creative production logistics including photo shoots, video shoots, and content capture
Team Operations & Administrative Support
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate team logistics
Prepare agendas, capture notes, and track follow‑ups from meetings
Support travel planning and expense coordination as needed
Assist with onboarding processes for new team members
Communication & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Serve as a liaison between the Creative team and internal stakeholders (e.g., Talent, Brand Marketing, Partnerships)
Coordinate communication with external vendors, freelancers, and production partners
Ensure clear and timely information flow across all project stakeholders
Data, Reporting & Asset Management
Help organize and distribute performance data, reporting, and analytics
Maintain organized systems for creative assets, files, and documentation
Support quality control and version management of deliverables
General Support
Provide ad‑hoc support to Creative leadership and team members
Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies
Support special projects and broader team initiatives as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
1–3 years of experience in project coordination, marketing, or a creative environment
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Exceptional attention to detail and follow‑through
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com) is a plus
Familiarity with creative workflows, production processes, and asset management is a plus
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
Proactive, resourceful, and solutions‑oriented mindset
Passion for sports and culture is a plus
Compensation
The pay range for this position is: $67,500–$70,000 per year. This position is also eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good‑faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Salary Transparency Law. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
