On-Call Care Specialist

Job Title: On-Call Care Specialist (Part Time)

Location: Synergy HomeCare of Williamsburg (Office and Field Based)

As an On-Call Care Specialist with Synergy HomeCare, you will:

  • Provide direct care support for assigned shifts, including last-minute and urgent coverage
  • Assist with new client start-of-care assignments, including weekend support as needed
  • Support office operations when not actively assigned to a client shift
  • Deliver care in accordance with individualized care plans and company protocols
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, reliability, and responsiveness

Schedule & Availability Requirements:

  • Minimum of 30 hours per week required, with the ability to work up to 40 hours (overtime not permitted)
  • General availability between 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
  • Report to the office at 9:00 AM if no client assignment is scheduled
  • Weekend work is not required; however, availability for occasional weekend coverage, particularly for new or urgent cases, is expected
  • Ability to work shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours based on client needs

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in home care or a related field preferred (CNA certification is a plus)
  • Strong adaptability and ability to respond to dynamic scheduling needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to quality care

  • Willingness to support both field and administrative functions as needed
